TwinHop → License Agreement

End User License Agreement

Last Updated: 20 October 2026

Summary

When you buy and install TwinHop from UNICGLOBAL ENGINEERING LTD, you agree to this EULA, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. We give you a license to use TwinHop for one year, but you don’t own the software. The personal license is for your own use; repair shops that work on their customers’ phones for payment need a Repair shop or Repair shop Plus license. Please don’t share or resell your license key, copy, hack or otherwise misuse TwinHop. Updates released during your license term are included. Some features depend on Apple and work only as long as Apple allows them. No account is created: your license key is your access, so keep it safe and let us know at support@twinhop.com if you think it has been compromised.

The license is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no automatic renewal. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. TwinHop is provided “as is”, and while we do our best, we can’t guarantee it will always be error-free or work with every device. If something goes wrong, write to us first and we will try to sort it out. Any disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without limiting your mandatory rights as a consumer in your country.

1. Introduction

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) sets forth the terms and conditions under which you are authorised to install and use the TwinHop software for macOS and Windows, its upgrades, patches, updates and associated services (collectively, the “Software”) provided by UNICGLOBAL ENGINEERING LTD, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, registration number HE 359668, registered office at Irodi Attikou 8A, Lakatamia, 2332 Nicosia, Cyprus (“Company” or “We”).

Please read this EULA carefully before purchasing, installing or using the Software. By clicking the purchase button at checkout and completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by this EULA, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. This EULA is available at twinhop.com/terms/. A notice to this effect is displayed next to the purchase button. If you do not agree with any of these conditions, please do not purchase, install or use the Software.

By completing your purchase, you also expressly agree that We start supplying the Software immediately after payment, and you acknowledge that once supply has started you lose your statutory right of withdrawal. This does not affect the voluntary refund available under our Refund Policy.

2. Changes to EULA

This EULA can be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to the license key you purchased. Any updated version applies to purchases made after its publication. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this EULA.

3. Eligibility

You may only enter into this EULA if you are of legal age to form a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence.

4. Your License Key and Your Information

No user account is created when you purchase the Software. Your license is identified by the license key sent to the email address you provide at checkout (“License Key”). We collect and process your personal data in connection with your purchase and use of the Software as explained in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for keeping your License Key confidential. Any use of the Software with your License Key will be deemed to have been made by you. If you believe your License Key has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at support@twinhop.com.

5. Non-Exclusive Limited Use License

Subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions of this EULA and payment of the price, We hereby grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to install and use the Software within the scope of the license type you purchased, as described below.

The license is valid for one (1) year from the moment the License Key is issued. Depending on the license type, it covers:

For reviewers: changed against your draft. The iPhone limit is counted per License Key, not per computer, and the Repair shop and Repair shop Plus licenses are described as they are sold on twinhop.com. Please confirm the wording.

This EULA also applies to any updates, upgrades and patches We provide for the Software during the license term. We provide updates at our discretion and are not obliged to support any particular device, operating system or iOS version. When the license term ends, the licensed features of the Software stop working until you purchase a new License Key.

Under the Personal license, you may not use, or allow others to use, the Software or the license granted under this EULA for any commercial purpose, including servicing other people’s devices for payment. Servicing other people’s devices for payment is permitted only under a Repair shop or Repair shop Plus license.

The Software may only be downloaded from twinhop.com or another source authorised by us. If you obtained the Software from an unauthorised source, this EULA does not apply, such use is unauthorised, and you must delete and stop using the Software immediately. You may not upload, share, distribute or otherwise make the Software available on any network from which it could be downloaded by others.

6. Features and Limitations

The Software is designed to transfer data from one iPhone to another through a backup stored on your computer.

Certain features of the Software, including installing apps from your purchases, rely on services and mechanisms provided by Apple Inc. that are not publicly documented. These features are available only to the extent and for as long as Apple permits them. Apple may change, restrict or discontinue them at any time without notice. Any such change is outside our control and does not constitute a defect of the Software or a breach of this EULA.

The scope of data that can be transferred is determined by Apple’s platform. Some data may not be transferable, may require re-entry or re-download, or may be rejected by the receiving device. Such limitations do not constitute a defect of the Software. On Windows, certain third-party software provided by Apple must be installed for the Software to work.

You are solely responsible for creating and keeping backups of your data before using the Software and for checking the result of any transfer before deleting data from your old device.

7. Fees and Payment

The Software is offered for a one-time purchase. The price is the price shown on twinhop.com at the time of purchase and covers one year of license. You agree to pay the full price in advance before receiving your License Key.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers under their own terms. We do not receive or store your payment card details. The License Key is sent to your email address after your payment is confirmed. If you have paid but have not received your License Key, or if your payment does not go through, please contact us at support@twinhop.com.

There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. You will not be charged again when the license term ends. If you wish to continue using the Software, you may purchase a new License Key.

8. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. This license does not confer any title or ownership right on you in the Software and should not be construed as a sale or transfer of intellectual property rights in the Software.

We and our licensors own and retain all rights, title and interest in and to the Software, including its source and object code, structure, design, user interface, documentation, names, logos and all related intellectual property rights, whether registered or not, anywhere in the world.

The License Key is a means of access to the Software only. It does not represent any property right, has no monetary value and may be deactivated in accordance with this EULA.

The Software may include third-party and open-source components. Such components are subject to their own license terms, which prevail over this EULA to the extent required by those terms.

If you send us suggestions, ideas or other feedback about the Software, you grant us a free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use it for any purpose without any obligation to you.

All rights not expressly granted to you in this EULA are reserved by us. No implied licenses are granted under this EULA.

9. Copyright

If you believe that your copyrights have been infringed in any way, please send us a complaint at support@twinhop.com with “Copyright” in the subject line.

10. Restricted Actions

You agree to use the Software, or any part thereof, only in a manner consistent with this EULA, and you must not, directly or indirectly:

11. Refunds

Refunds are processed in accordance with our Refund Policy. To request a refund, please contact us at support@twinhop.com. If a refund is issued, or if a payment is reversed, charged back or disputed, the License Key is deactivated.

12. Technical Protection Measures

We use license checks and other technical protection measures to prevent piracy and the unauthorised copying or use of the Software. Attempting to circumvent, disable or tamper with these measures will terminate this EULA.

13. Third-Party Services

The Software interacts with third-party services, including services of Apple Inc. and payment providers. Your use of such services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for any third-party services, their availability or any changes to them.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to any mandatory legal guarantees, the Software is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no express, implied or statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, compatibility with any device or service, or your satisfaction, and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from the Software or our representatives, will create any warranty not expressly made in this EULA.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the Software or related third-party services, including loss of data and direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages, whether in contract, tort, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise. In no event will our total liability to you for all damages, losses or causes of action exceed the amount you paid to us for your license.

Nothing in this EULA limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Nothing in this EULA affects your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, losses, obligations, damages or expenses arising from your use of the Software, your breach of this EULA, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. This term will continue to be effective even if you have stopped using the Software.

16. Termination

This EULA remains in effect until the end of the license term, unless terminated earlier by us in accordance with this Section 16.

The EULA will automatically be terminated by us, and your License Key deactivated without refund, if you fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this EULA, in particular Section 10 (Restricted Actions). In the event of termination for any reason, you must immediately stop using and uninstall the Software.

Sections 8 (Ownership), 14 (Limitation of Liability), 15 (Indemnification), 17 (Pre-Trial Dispute Resolution) and 18 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution) will survive termination, to the extent provided by mandatory provisions of applicable law.

17. Pre-Trial Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute related to the Software or this EULA, please contact us first at support@twinhop.com and describe the issue. We will do our best to resolve it amicably within thirty (30) days of receiving your message. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns before you bring any claim.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This EULA and any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to it, the Software or any related services will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

If a dispute is not resolved under Section 17 (Pre-Trial Dispute Resolution), it will be resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of habitual residence.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any proceedings will be conducted solely on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, representative or mass action. Unless you and Company agree otherwise in writing, no court may consolidate more than one person’s claims or otherwise preside over any form of a class, collective, representative or mass action.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the Software must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues. Otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.

19. Trademarks

TwinHop is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, iPhone, App Store, iCloud, Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

20. Miscellaneous

This EULA, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Software.

If any provision of this EULA is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right under this EULA does not constitute a waiver of that right.

We may assign our rights and obligations under this EULA. You may not assign yours without our prior written consent.

This EULA is drafted in English and may be translated into other languages. In case of any inconsistency between language versions, the English version prevails, to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law.
